Bu çalışmanın konusunu Türk seramik sanatı tarihi içinde fazla bilinmeyen beyaz hamurlu, sırlı, kalıp baskı-oyma tekniğinde bezemeli, bir grup seramik oluşturmaktadır. Arkeolojik kazılarda İran ve Suriye gibi farklı merkezlerden ithal olarak gelmiş, benzer özellikte parçalar ele geçmektedir. Bu nitelikteki, seramikler kısa bir süre ve kısıtlı miktarda Anadolu’da/Hasankeyf’te de üretilmiştir. Bu kapsamdaki buluntular hem fritli beyaz hamur teknolojisi hem de kalıp baskı-oyma-bezeme teknikleri ile kendine özgü bir seramik grubu oluşturmaktadır.
Hasankeyf kazılarında Sahil Sarayı olarak adlandırılan ve iki kompleksden oluşan alanda ortaya çıkarılan seramik atölyesinde ele geçen kase, tabak gibi küçük sofra kapları, fritli hamurlu-kalıp baskı tekniğindeki XII-XIII. yüzyıl İran ve Suriye kaplarıyla benzer özellikler taşımaktadır. Ayrıca bozuk, kırık parçalar ve fırın malzemeleri, kalıp baskı tekniğinde sırlı seramiklerin Hasankeyf’te de üretildiğini ortaya koymaktadır.
The subject of this study is a group of ceramics made of white paste, glazed and decorated in the pattern-print-carving technique, which is not much known in the history of Turkish ceramic art. In the archaeological excavations, similar pieces were found that were imported from different centers such as Iran and Syria. Ceramics of this nature were also produced in Anatolia/Hasankeyf for a short time and in limited quantities. The finds within this scope constitute a unique ceramic group with both fritted white paste technology and mold printing-carving-decoration techniques.
Small tableware such as bowls and plates unearthed in the ceramic workshop in the area called the Beach Palace, which consists of two complexes during the Hasankeyf excavations, are dated to XII-XIII. century Persian and Syrian vessels have similar features. In addition, damaged and broken pieces and kiln materials reveal that glazed ceramics in the mold printing technique were also produced in Hasankeyf.
