Tarama yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmanın amacı, Kütahya çini-seramiklerinin motif özelliklerini ve seramik bölümü öğrencilerinin bu seramik ve motiflerden etkilenme düzeylerini araştırmaktır. Veri toplama aracı olarak 26 çini ve seramiğin motiflerini incelemek için uzmanlar yardımıyla bir form hazırlanmıştır. Form, eserin yapıldığı dönem, bulunduğu yer, tekniği, malzemesi, konusu, kompozisyonu gibi kriterleri içerir. İncelenen seramik motiflerinin çalışma grubundaki seramik öğrencilerinin etki düzeyini belirlemek için uzman görüşlerinden yararlanılarak 12 sorudan oluşan bir anket geliştirilmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin yorumlanmasında öğrenci görüşleri için % ve f değerleri kullanılmış, incelenen motif özellikleri için toplanan nitel veriler tablolaştırılarak yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuca göre incelenen 26 çini-seramik ağırlıklı olarak motif özellikleri, konu ağırlıklı olarak bitkisel ve renk ağırlıklı olarak lacivert, mavi ve kırmızıdır. Kütahya'da seramik bölümünde okuyan öğrencilerin bu motiflerden etkilenme düzeyi oldukça düşüktür. Bu sonuç Kütahya seramik sanatı ve eğitimi açısından oldukça düşündürücü bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonunda bu doğrultuda öneriler geliştirilmiştir.
The aim of this study, which was carried out by scanning method, is to investigate the motif characteristics of Kütahya tile-ceramics and the level of influence of ceramic department students from these ceramics and motifs. As a data collection tool, a form was prepared with the help of experts to examine the motifs of 26 tiles and ceramics. The form includes criteria such as the period in which the work was made, its location, technique, material, subject and composition. In order to determine the effect level of the ceramics students in the study group of the examined ceramic motifs, a questionnaire consisting of 12 questions was developed by making use of expert opinions. In the interpretation of the research data, % and f values were used for student views, and the qualitative data collected for the motif features examined were tabulated and interpreted. According to the result obtained, the 26 tiles and ceramics examined are predominantly motif features, the subject is predominantly herbal and the color is predominantly dark blue, blue and red. The level of being affected by these motifs is very low for the students studying at the ceramics department in Kütahya. This result was found to be very thought-provoking in terms of Kütahya ceramic art and education. At the end of the research, suggestions were developed in this direction.
